Whether you are new to contracting or have been contracting for some time, we believe that we can provide you with an invaluable support service that ultimately is going to save you money.
Despite your choice of service level, we always begin the process by ensuring that you have a full understanding of the law, what we will be doing for you and any potential implications. As a matter of course, we will supply you with:
• Draft contracts between you and your client and or agency
• An Engagement letter from Think Accounting
If after our discussion would like to continue, the next part of the process is registration. This allows us to collate the relevant information and authorities from you so as we can register your company and speak to HMRC on your behalf.
The Registration Process.
Within this welcome pack is a registration form. Most of the details are quite simple, i.e. name and address etc. The authentication part requires some details that are personal / specific to you and are in replacement of a live signature. Bank account details are required so that we can send funds to your account. Proof of identification is also essential as without it we cannot act on your behalf and in turn send funds to you.
Attached to the Registration form is HMRC form 64-8. This form requires signing and allows us to speak to HMRC on your behalf.
Once the forms are all complete, your company will be registered with the details provided and is usually completed within 4 working hours. At this point, we will receive:
1. Certificate of incorporation
2. Memorandum of Articles
3. Share certificate
Effectively, once registered, you are in a position to trade and contract with companies.
